Constant Wattage Heat tape is used for process heating systems. The term constant wattage means that if you lay two pieces of 5w/ft tape across each other, the wattage will double and become 10w/ft at that point. This type is ideal for high output power, mounted around metal piping which carries product to mixing or pumping tanks.
