Thermocouples are two unique metals that when connected create a uniquie mV signal in reference to temperature. The most common thermocouples are J, K and T.

  • Type J Range : 32 to 1400° F
  • Type K Range: 32 to 2382° F
  • Type T Range: -328 to 600° F

There are also exotic metals such as R and S which can go up to 3000° F

Thermocouples can be built for a variety of applications. Thermocouples mounted in high temperature ceramic protection tubes, or tube sheath styles with mounting fittings. Low cost easy to replace sensors for plastic injection mold machines.
