Surge Protection

Eaton’s new DIN rail surge protective device (SPD) is Open Type 1
SPD listed for DIN rail mounting applications and is available in
both AC and DC voltages. The pluggable multi-pole SPD comes
equipped with an optional remote contact (RC) connector for
remote monitoring. The metal oxide varistor (MOV)-based protection
modules feature up to 50 kA per phase of surge protection with a
20 kA nominal discharge current rating
